La’Daena Londo is a trailblazing leader, entrepreneur, author, and community builder whose journey embodies resilience, faith, and unstoppable determination.
In 2020, La’Daena made history as the first woman elected Mayor of Penns Grove, New Jersey, and the first African American woman elected Mayor in Salem County. In 2023, after being removed from the ballot, she defied the odds by running—and winning—as a write-in candidate, becoming only the second person in 100 years in New Jersey to achieve such a victory. She began her second term in January 2024.
As Mayor, La’Daena has transformed Penns Grove through bold initiatives that blend vision with action:
Outside of government, La’Daena is a dynamic entrepreneur. She is the Founder & CEO of TekSperience LLC, an IT consulting and staffing firm specializing in cybersecurity, identity management, managed services, and digital transformation across industries such as healthcare, government, banking, and telecommunications.
Her commitment to women’s empowerment is evident through her leadership in Sisters Conglomerate, a women’s advocacy and empowerment collective she co-founded with other community leaders. She also launched initiatives like the LeadHERship Academy to prepare women for political and professional success.
La’Daena is also an accomplished author and storyteller. Her memoir, “La’Daena Londo – The Campaign of Life” (to be released November 15, 2025), is a powerful testament of resilience, betrayal, and triumph. Through this book, she shares not only her political journey but also deeply personal experiences of survival and faith—offering a roadmap for anyone who has ever been told they “can’t, won’t, or shouldn’t.” Her upcoming works include continuing her mission to inspire others through leadership and storytelling.
She is also the host of La’Daena Talks: New Jersey Spotlight Series, a podcast highlighting political, social, and cultural issues in New Jersey, where she has interviewed leaders like Newark Mayor Ras Baraka.
Her life is rooted in service, empowerment, and legacy-building. From mentoring youth to spearheading broadband expansion, from revitalizing Penns Grove’s neighborhoods to inspiring readers through her writing, La’Daena Londo embodies what it means to lead with courage and conviction.
The Honorable La’Daena Londo continues to break barriers, inspire communities, and pave the way for future generations—living proof that setbacks are not the end of a story, but the beginning of power.
